2007 and 2008

Annual  Awards

Coalville Gymnastics Club has given the Annual Awards for its gymnasts for the third year recently.  This year's awards were: -

• Senior Gymnast of the Year 2008

• Anna MacDonald

• Senior Gymnast of the Year 2007

• Jessica Woolerton

Anna MacDonald retired at the end of 2008, but not before competing her geinger salto and pak salto. A very good end to an excellent year and fantastic gymnastics career. anna has now taken to coaching and helps with the young talented gymnasts.

• Junior Gymnast of the Year 2008

• Keara Peters

• Junior Gymnast of the Year 2007

• Paris Curtis Smith

• Overall Most Improved Gymnast of the Year 2008

• Emily Denham

• Overall Most Improved Gymnast of the Year 2007

• Jessica Woolerton

• The Rotary Club Award --

                                          The Best Floor Routine of the Year 2008

• Holly Drake

• This award is given to the gymnast who acheives the least deductions in a floor routine in competition. Holly earned this award for her Leicestershire Competition in 2008.

• Anna MacDonald

Certificates of Merit

Certificates of Merit were also given to Christine Becks, Emily Clark, Frankie Selby, Chloe Pepper and Evie Grewcock; for their hard work and enthusiam. They were named 'most improved' of their groups.
